CHURCH CONCERT.

A successful concert was held in St. Phillip's Presbyterian Church, Point Chevalier, on Monday evening.

The concert was given by members of the Sunday School, and the programme was arranged by members of the con-

gregation. Pianoforte duets were given by Mrs. Yates and Misses Myrtle Seatter, Doris Boag and Doris Buchanan, and songs were rendered by Misses Jean Bassett, Joyce Hartwell, Rena Dixon, Doris Buchanan, Pat Boag, Jean Wood, Freda

Simpson, Lillian Haynes, Georgina Wood and Masters Ray McAneanay, Erwin Seatter and Ronald Webb. Elocutionary items by Pearl Steele, Rena Dixon, Joyce Hartwell, Rave McGregor, Pat Boag, Harold Cranston, Erwin Seatter and Len McGregor were also enjoyed. A dialogue was rendered by Miss Muriel Steele and Miss Doris Boag. Several little playettes were also' acted by youthful performers: The duties of chairman wer& carried out by Mr. Robert Boyd.
