SURPRISE PARTY.
An enjoyable evening was spent at the home of Miss Isabel Inglis, when the Presbyterian Ladies' Guild gave a surprise part.v prior to her wedding, which will sliortly take place in Auckland. The president, ill's. Geo. Holmes, presented Miss Inglis with a bedroom clock from members of the Ladies' Guild. Songs were rendered by Mrs. Marlin and Mrs. Drinnan (duet) and Mrs. Fairhurst. Games and competitions were held during the evening.
