NEW MINISTER

PONSONBY CHURCH OF CHRIST An arrival by the Wanganclla from Sydney to-morrow will be Pastor E. Lyell Williams, M.A., who comes to take up the work at the Ponsonby Road Church of Christ, Auckland, as successor to the late Ralph Gebbie, 8.A., who for 12 years held this pastorate with great success. Pastor Williams has recently relinquished the work at the Glenferrie Church of Christ, Melbourne, after a successful term of five years with that church. He is one of a family of four boys, all of whom are now in the ministry in Australia. Mr. Williams takes a keen interest in sporting activities, especially in regard to football, in which sport he has gained representative honours. Mr. Williams takes up the work at Ponsonby Road Church on Sunday, June 21.
