OTAHUHU POLICE COURT.
Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., presided at the sitting of the Otahuliu Police Court yesterday. Robert Edward Dowsett was charged with negligent driving. The evidence disclosed that defendant turned to the right without first seeing that L'ue road was cl'.ar and ran into a motor cycle. Dowsett, who said his view was obstructed by a motor bus, was fine:/ $0/ and costs 20/. Travelling at 50 miles per hour between -anurewa and Papatoetoc cost Frank Copeland 40/, plus 10/ costs, while for driving through Papatoetoe at 45 miles per hour E. B. Stoke was fined £1, plus 10/ costs.
