TALKIES IN CHURCHES.

'PRAYER. AND WORSHIP HtM' LONDON. Three types of religious film, produced under the auspices of the Cinema Christian Council (of which the Archbishop of Canterbury ia .president), are to be demonstrated in London. One of these is a "prayer and worship film," a sound picture designed to lead the audience in worship. It includes a hymn sung by a*selected choir and the Lord's Prayer and General Thanksgiving led by the Precentor of Canterbury Cathedral. The other films are a pictorial tour of Canterbury and a missionary adventure story entitled "Stick It Out." Keligious films are- being used more and more widely in evangelistic work, and many churches are being equipped with sub-standard talking-picture apparatus through the work of the Religious Film Society.
