ANNUAL DANCE.
OTAHUHU SAILING CLUB. Club colours were a prominent feature in the decorative scheme at the Public Hall in Otaliuhu last evening on the occasion of the annual dance and presentation of prizes of the Otaliuhu Sailing Club. The guests were welcomed by the coitfhiodore, Mr. L. Reid, and Mr. W. A. Wilkinson, commodore of the Tainaki Club,, .extended congratulations on behalf of kindred clubs. A splendid array of trophies was presented by the club's patron, Mr. 11. T. Clements, the principal recipients being: — Champion cup, Mr. H. McDell's Sun; cruising pennant, Mr. W. Parkinson's Kismet. Other winners were Matariki, Champagne, Sun, Meteor, Mary Fay, Cyclone, Rahiri and Will Wisp." Winners of swimming trophies for races held on the annual regatta day were: —Ladies: Miss L. Gray 1, Miss Rona Stinton 2. Girls: Hazel Johnston 1, Joyce Way 2. Men: G. Eyre 1, S. Rippon 2. Boys: J. Francis 1, R. Jones 2; A. Johnston 1, P. Squire 2. Crew relay: Cyclone 1. Dinghy race: C. Castle 1, *R. Castle 2.
