DAIRY CHEQUES INCREASE. ADVANCES BY FACTORIES. On account of their May supply it is estimated that fanners in the Auckland Province will receive £00,000 more than was advanced them in June of last year. This is considered definite evidence of the improved condition of the butter, market in London. In June last year factories advanced about Oil per lb butterfat for finest quality, and in June, 1934, Bd. To-day most factories are advancing 1/ per lb for finest quality, the advance being the best since 1931 when 1/ per lb advances for butterfat were general. When deferred payments are taken into account the average payment for the whole of the current season will be about 1/ per lb butterfat, which means that Auckland's dairy cheque will be £2.000,000 more than last season, when the average was about. 9Jd per lb. The New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, has decided to advance its suppliers 1/ per lb butterfat for finest quality for buttermaking and 1/1J per lb for eheesemaking for May supplies. The following advances have been agreed to by other Waikato companies for May supplies:—Waikato Valley, butter, 1/; Norfolk, cheese, 1/; Sunny Park, butter, 1/. cheese, 1/; Tc Awanmtu. butter, llld; Tokoroa, cheese, lid; Hiiiuera, butter, Hid.
