A romantic meeting with an English girl visiting Africa on holiday resulted in the engagement of Herbert Wade,' South African cricket captain, to Miss Irene Margaret Horton, of Warwickshire. The couple met for the first time three weeks ago. Miss Horton sails home to-morrow. She is a follower of the hounds in Warwickshire, which is the original home of the Wade family.
