(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent,) WHANG ARE I, this day. Several minor accidents occurred on Whangarei Rugby fields on Saturday. Playing for Wliatitiri, Arthur Ryan, aged 25, of Poroti. received an injury to his right', knee. He was taken to tie Whangarei District Hospital for observation. In the senior match at Tikurangi, Jones, an Old Boys forward, retired at half time with a hurt ankle, Ms place being taken by Mac Donald. At Kensington, Lee Murdoch, a High School player, received a blow on tho nose which necessitated liis retirement.
