SHEEP-DOG TRIALS.
j TE XUITI COLUE CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TE KUITI, Saturday. Results of the jubilee sheep-dog trials conducted by the Te Kuiti Collie Club are as follow :— Long Head, Pull and Hold in Ring.—P. Smith's Highland King, 48 points, 1; G. Sutherland's Kep, 40 points, 2 ; A. Sutherland's Fly, 45J points, 3. Short Head, Pull, Drive and Yard.—G. Sutherland's Ring, 57 points, 1; Fraser Smith's Highland King, 50 points, 2 ; W. Trembatli's Paddy, 52 points, 3. Hun fa way.—F. King's Don, 42 points, 1 ; A. French's Mack, 30 points, 2; Fraser Smith's Toss, 32 points, 3. A. Davie, of Rangitoto, won the Auctioneers' Cup for the local novice dog in the first class and the remainder of the trophies were divided between Fraser Smith and F. King, both of Awakino.
