Some little delay was caused to tramcars in Karangahape Road last evening, when an outgoing car burst into flames underneath its main structure as the result of an electrical fault. The passengers lefl the car, but the fire was easily extinguished by an engine from the central station. Knocked down by a light delivery van near the intersection of Nelson Street and Wellesley Street West about seven o'clock last night, Mr., Karl Wilson, of 10, Pitt Street, City, sustained a broken leg and concussion and was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambu' lance. His condition to-day was considered fairly serious. I
