CAPTURED AFTER CHASE

BEAUTY SALON INTRUDER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. In a Supreme Court case to-day, which the prosecution described as one of those rare ones ill which the accused was caught rcdhanded, William Murphy was found guilty of breaking and entering a beauty salon ill Manners Street. Detectives gave evidence that they had seen Murphy in the salon with two other men, and chased and captured him when he ran away. Two prisoners now serving sentences for the same offence said that Murphy was not in the building until brought in by the detectives. Accused was remanded for sentence.
