"MID-DAY SCOT" SPEEDED UP. British Official Wireless.

RUGBY, May 3,

The London, Midland and Scottish Railway Company will inaugurate on Monday the fastest service from London to Glasgow in railway history. The "mid-day Scot" will leave Euston ' station, London, at two o'clock and will reach Glasgow 7 hours 35 minutes later, completing the journey of 40H miles at ah average speed of 52.9 miles an hour. The company is also accelerating 747 : other services as a part of the summer programme, which will start next week.
