CIVIL ENGINEERS.

A detailed description of the construction of the reservoir on Mount Hobson was given by Mr. H. E. Goldsboro, of the Auckland City Council staff, in a paper which he read at the quarterly meeting of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Society of Civil Engineers on Friday night. Mr. J. Tyler, the city engineer, presided oyer a good attendance. A discussion followed the reading of the paper.
