INVESTMENT TRUST.

APPEAL TO LEGISLATURE. LIFE SAVINGS AT STAKE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. Norman Levy, the Wellington representative of the debenture-holders' committee of the Investment Executive Trust of New Zealand, Ltd. (in liquidation), said to-day that the committee had an urgent conference following the meeting which was held yesterday afternoon, and had unanimously decided that the invocation of the assistance of the Legislature was the best coursc that could now be pursued.

Pressure from debenture holders, the fate of whose entire life savings was about to be decided, had influenced this decision.
