HUNTING.
MARAMARUA CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TUAKAU, Thursday. The master, Mr. J. D. Fagan, presided at the fourth annual meeting of the Maramarua Hunt, at which there was aa attendance of 40 members. In a brief review, the master said the past season had been very wet, necessitating care in hunting and tli& postponements of several meets. Thanks were extended to Messrs. W. E. Hale and T. Maxwell for permitting point-to-point meetings on their properties. The hounds were in good condition and 12 couples would be available for hunting this season. Opening day was fixed for April 30. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. H. K. Jones; master, Mr. J. D. Fagan; huntsman. Mr. S. Symes; whip for Maramarua, Mr. W. J. Steen; secretary, Mrs. S. Symes; treasurer, Mrs. W. Marshall; auditor. Mr. L. A. Miller; general committee. Messrs. A. W. Cole, P. Williams, E. Burdess. E. Waller, L. A. Miller, J. B. Parker. V. Young, F. P. Fathers. R. Wisgins. M. Bailey. P. P. Henry, W. D. Nicholas. W. A. Reed, L. Lindberg, L. Cathcart. N. Logan: executive committee. Messrs. Yonng, Fathers, Henrv. Williams. T. Lawson, Parker, Waller. W. Marshall. G. Robertson, Cathcart, Lindberg. Reid.
