PIRIPIRI PARASITE
FURTHER CONSIGNMENTS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WANGANUI, this day. Dr. David iMiller, of the Cawtliron Institute, who is visiting Wanganui con. fevring with farmers re the distribution of the pii'ipiri parasite, states that there are sufficient funds in the hands of the vice-consul at Temuco to obtain further consignments until March, and that the organisation has been left in the hands of an Anglo-Chilian to forward further supplies if desired.
Dr. Miller, at Santiago, came across an insect which attacks a poisonous spider in Chile, which is almost identical with the New Zealand katipo.
