MOTOR CYCLE NOTES.

RIDERS LEAVING. BEACH MEETINGS PLANNED. Members of the Auckland Motor Cyclc Club farewelled Messrs. (J. Goldberg, New Zealand's representative for tlie international T.T. races, and J. Kay, of the eiubrooms last Thursday evening. Mr. (J. Allen, the president, on behalf of the members presented each with an engraved wallet. Among the visitors were the executive of the Hamilton Motor Cycle Club, Mr. Sargent, of the Hamilton Aero Club, Mr." Geo. Smith, of the Motor Racing Drivers' Association, and Mr. Harley; representing the wholesalers.

Mr. Jack Stewart will also >be leaving by the Niagara to-night for Sydney, where ho will join np with Putt Mossman's Circus as mechanic for their tour of England. Mr. J. Kay, who has been track manager of the Western Springs speedway since its inception, is going as manager of the Putt Mossman Circus.

A beach meeting will be held at Muriwai 011 March 22 (first race, 1 p.m.). The club speed trials will be held, together with two amateur npvice events and the McLaren Cup race.

Arrangements have been made to meet the members of the Hamilton Motor Cycle Club at Mercer 011 March 29 for a social gathering.

The New Zealand beach championship meeting will take place at Muriwai 011 April 19. Two Auckland championships will be held and the New Zealand open championship of 20 miles and the New Zealand sidecar championship of 10 miles.
