A CLUB FOR THE LONELY.

I fully agree with the idea of "Widow" and "In the Gloaming," as to forming a club for elderly lonely people, not only widowers and widows, but spinsters and bachelors from about 50 years and upwards so that we could not be accused of taking the young people's boy and girl friends. lam ready and willing to help form a committee to arrange such a club. I am sure it will be a great boon to many and we would feel we had somewhere to go which was all our own. I suggest','tho? a who are interested to answer the "Personal" in the "Star," and I am sure a room "Can ii; had quite reasonably. < 3 ' ;s "
