MODEL AEROPLANES.
TROPHIES PRESENTED. THE AUCKLAND CLUB. The annual general meeting of the Auckland Model Aeroplane Club resulted in the election of the foljpwing officers Patron, Mr. Spencer Mason; president, Mr. F. C. Macdonald; club captain, Mr. W. B. Mackley; hon. secretary, Mr. I. ChlnneryBrown ; hon. treasurer, Mr. K. O. Hanilcock ; recording officer, Mr. G. M. Perkins; management committee, Messrs. Mayn, Reynolds and Allen; timekeepers, Messrs. Alexander and Reynolds.
Trophies won throughout the year were presented by Mr. F. C. Macdonald. The Keely Cup, for highest aggregate of flying points, was won by Mr. L. R. Mayn, with Mr. W. B. Mackley runner-up. The Orphans' Cup was won by Mr. W. B. Mackley; the club ladder championship (special trophv by Mr. Macdonald) won by Mr. L. R. Mayn'; tho Garrett Shield won by Mr. Mackley. Certificates for record flights were presented to Messrs. Mackley, Mayn, Clarkson, and Allen.
Results of a short flying competition held at the conclusion of the meeting: R. Clarkson 1, W. B. Mackley 2, L. R. Mayn 3.
