NEW MINISTRY.
M. Sarraut Forms Cabinet in France. M. LAVAL'S SUCCESSOR. (Received 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, January 24. M. Sarraut has formed a Cabinet. He himself is Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. Other members of the Cabinet are: — M. Flandin.—Foreign Affairs. M. Regnier.—Minister of Finance. M. Paul-Boncour.—Minister of War. M. Laurentevnac. —Minister of Air. M. Pietri.—Minister of Marine. M. Bonnet. —Minister of Commerce. M. Flandin stands for pro-British policy. M. Regnier's appointment will reassure business men of the Government's determination to defend the franc, and is especially welcome as the Bank of France has lost £8,000,000 in gold in the last three days. The new Ministry is an anti-Laval Cabinet and predominantly Radical. It probably will not go any further towards sanctions than its predecessor but will proclaim its loyalty to collective securitv.
EARLY DIFFICULTIES... TWO CHANGES MADE. (Received 12 noon.) PARIS, January 24. Last minute difficulties caused M. Sarraut to reconstruct his Cabinet. The Minister of War is now M. Maurin, and M. Deat is Minister of Air.
