Interesting and significant statistics on Canadian trade have been issued here by the Dominion Bureau of For the seven months to the end of October Canada imported from Empire countries goods to the yahnr of £•>} 000 000. being an increase ot 1&.J5 pei cent over the same months of last year. The United Kingdom Contributed £]<i 500.000 of the total, Australia £1 300 000 New Zealand £400,000, British South Africa £000,000.
In the panic period Canadian imports from foreign countries reached a,total of £13,000,000, an increase of only 3.0 per cent. ' For the seven months Canadian e\i '- Is to Empire countries gained 7.4" per cent to reach a total of £44,000,000, the United Kingdom taking goods to the value of £35.000,000. Exports to foreign countries advanced 13.7 par cent and reached £2!.000.000.
