Quito a lot has been written by advanced medical thinkers in regard to the dangers of taking ordinary iodine for the cure of goitrfe The internal use of ordinary iodine, or thyroid preparations, should not be considered except under the most expert medical supervision. Leading doctors the world over have stressed in no uncertain terms the fact that vegetable iodine obtained from edible seaweed is tie natural and best preventive of goitre. In * goitre-ridden country such as New Zealandl it seems an astounding thing that no one las sufficient business acumen to place edible eea , weed on the market at a price available to all. Hamilton.
