PICTURES AND SUPPER.
A jolly picture and supper party which brought to a close the activities for the present year was arranged by the members of Mrs. Sydney Goldsmith's class of the arts and crafts circle of the Lyceum Club in her honour on Friday night. The lovely bouquet, which was made by Mrs. MacMorran, and presented to Mrs. Goldsmith, served as a centre piece for the supper table. Gaily-coloured paper streamers and Christmas bon-bons added to the festive appearance of the scene.
Mrs. Dickinson, convener of the circle, thanked Mrs. Goldsmith for her untiring voluntary efforts so cliperfully given and the splendid results .attained. Amongst those present were: Mesdames C. J. Dickinson, S. Goldsmith, Clifton Webb, E. MacMorran, A. W. Cheal, L. T. Eapton, Graham Lindsay, Hewlett, A. W. Harrison, C. Drewery, Colson, Cowie, Hammond Hyde, Dr. Gladys Rowley, Misses G. Lindsay, Rapson and E. Goldie.
