HELPING CRIPPLED CHILDREN.

Due at Auckland on January 6, Titania's Palace, the product _of the artis.tic imagination of Major Sir Neville Wilkinson, K.C.V.0., of the Coldstream Guards, will he shown at Milne and Choyce, Ltd., until February 8, the proceeds being destined for the Mayor of Auckland's Endowment Fund for the Crippled Children's Home. To the building of the palace, which is only 20 feet by 18 feet, Sir Neville Wilkinson has devoted his artistic talents for nearly 30 years. One day in 190<3 as he was endeavouring to transfer to his canvas art old sycamore tree, his baby daughter declared that she had seen the Fairy Queen disappear into the tree's moss-covered . roots and he promised to show her the Fairy Queen's palace. The palace is filled to the utmost with exquisite miniatures, every one to scale, and some of them of great value. It has been dedicated to tlje unfortunate little children of the World who are crippled and the proceeds resulting from ite exhibition are devoted to them. During the past twelve months, it has been shown in all parts of Australia and after being shown in Auckland, Palmerstott North, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill, it will be dispatched by the Niagara from Auckland on July 21 to Vancouver, to be ehown throughout Canada.
