EGYPT'S TROUBLES.
Agreement Between Parties Gives Hope for Peace.
PETITION TO KING FUAD
(Received 11 a.m.)
LONDON, December 11
"The Times" Cairo correspondent states that all political parties have agreed to submit a joint petition to King Fuad for the restoration of the 1923 Constitution forthwith and also to present a joint Koto to Sir Miles Lampson, High Commissioner for Egypt and the Sudan, intimating that they are ready to accept the draft treaty negotiated by Mustafa Pasha Kalias and the late Mr. Arthur Henderson in 1930 for the settlement of the relations between Britain- and Egypt. The agreement was received with enthusiasm by all sections of opinion, and it is now generally believed that there will be an early general election.
Cabinet will resign to-morrow. A coalition is now expected with Kassim Pasha as Premier.
