RUNAWAY GUARD'S VAN.
INCIDENT NEAR OHAKUNR (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAUMARUNUI, this day. Yesterday morning during shunting operations at Horopito a guard's van, detached from a train, ran away, and did not pull up until a mile past Ohakune Junction. No one was on board and no damage was done. Later the van was taken back to Ohakune Junction, which fortunately was clear when the incident occurred.
