MOUNTAIN LAP RECORD. British Official Wireless. lIUGBY, November 7. P. O. Shuttleworth, driving an AlfaRomeo car, broke the mountain lap record at Brooklands, his time being 51.33, which is equivalent to au average speed of 82.06 miles an hour. The record was recently raised by Raymond Mays in an Era car to 81.28 milea an hour.
