THE ASCOT MEETING. VOTTRE'S DOUBLE SUCCESS. MELBOURNE, November 6. Keith Voitre rode the winning double, Speardale and Gay Chow, at the Ascot meeting to-day. Voitre's percentages for his Flemington wine total £520. Marabou is to run in the Fisher Plate on Saturday. To-day's results included:— Ascot Handicap.—Royal Barb 1, Llsburn Belle 2, Silhouette 3. Time, 1.14 J. Tallagatta Handicap.—Your Honor 1, Journey's End 2, Autumn Air 3. Time, 1.271. Jack Horner lost his rider at the start of the first division of the Egerton Handicap. Shanghai Lady ran eighth in the second division. Isaacs ran fifth in the Egerton, Korero was unplaced in the Welter. Prince Pombal ran third in the first division of the High-weight Flying Handicap. Grand Duke was unplaced in the second division. Wild' Dove and Sir Walter were unplaced in the Three and Four-year-old Handicap.
