EXCURSIONS TO ROTORUA.
An early start is being made this year with the week-end railway excursions to Pvotorua. The Railway Department announces that the first will leave Auckland on Saturday at 11.45 p.m. It will leave Rotorua on the return journey on Sunday at 4.45 p.m., arriving at Auckland at 10.11 p.m. Last year these excursions proved very popular, and in view of the increased activity of the geysers recently many people arc expected to take advantage of the reduced rates.
