OBITUARY.
MRS. EBITH H. REEKIE. The many friends of Mrs. Edith H. Reekie will regret to hear of her sudden death following an operation at her home in San Jacinto, California. She had planned next month to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hare, of 100, Balmoral Road. Fifteen years ago Mrs. Reekie left New Zealand" with her husband, Dr. J. Slingaby Reekie, and her family, for America. Dr. Reekie was well known in Auckland and his loss was keenly felt when he died ten years ago at Los Angeles. Mrs. Reekie leaves a family of five children—Dr. Dudley Reekie (Kentucky), Dr. Keith Reekie (San Jacinto), Mrs. Dr. Chapman (Glendale), Athol Reekie and Mrs. Jean Truman (California).
