SOCIAL AND DANCE.
Another successful social and dance was hold by the Scottish Regimental Association, "The Jocks," in the club rooms, Customs Street, on Wednesday evening last. The president, Mr. J. Mnedonald, received the. guests. Pipe music was rendered by the association piper. Pipe-major T. Stewart. Dance music was excellently rendered by the Parker Orchestra. Items, which were much appreciated by the guests, were rendered by Miss I. Frost (songs), Miss M. Ward (Highland and tap dancing). Mr. J. Maclean was master of ceremonies. The Monte Carlo was won by Mr. J. Allan and Mrs. Diggory. Supper arrangements were in the capable hands of the ladies' committee, Mrs. J. Allan and Mrs. D. R. Laird. Amongst those present, were: Mesdames Harrison-Lee, W. Laird. Rankin, Siddle, Braimvaite, L. Allan, Eglington, Attwood. Diggory, Russell, Roiall, Tanner, Ward, Fisher, Duke, J. Smith, Misses .T. Cameron, M. Ward. M. Bramwaito. I. Frost. M. Frost, Lucy Macdonald, M. Macdonald, and M. Parker,
