HOSPITAL CONCERT.

The usual weekly concert for the entertainment of the hospital patients arranged by Mrs. Eaeburn and Mr. A. Hamblin was held on Wednesday evening last in Ward 228. A splendid programme of songs, duets, monologue and instrumental items was thoroughly enjoyed by the patients and many visitors from other wards. During the evening opportunity was taken to say farewell to Nurse Shaw, who is leaving, the hospital staff, and Uncle Jim, on behalf of the patients and friends, presented her with a beautiful bouquet. The concert was conducted by Uncle Jim, in the absence of Mr. Hamblin, and the following artists contributed: Mrs. Ernest Asher, Miss Gladys Barton, Miss Alvin England, Miss Aldwyth Dunn, Messrs. Sam Stephenson and Frank McKnight. Madame Dunn was the accompanist
