AFTERNOON TEA.
An interesting and moving account of the work of the British Legion was given by Mrs. Goldney, of Farnham, Surrey, England, at the afternoon tea given by the Presbyterian Ministers' Wives' Association in George Court and Sons' reception room on Friday afternoon. Mrs. Patterson (president) and Mrs. Currie (hon. secretary) were hostesses. Amongst those present were: Mrs. Goldney (the guest of honour), Mesdames Boot, Blair, Aspland, Fletcher, Halliday, Evans, White, Williams, Bower-Black, Spence, Budd, Thomson, Cuttle, Bishop and Miss Murray.
