BOWLING.
GREY LYNN CLUB. A pleasing number of friends and members attended the opening ceremony of the Grey Lynn Bowling Club on Saturday afternoon. The president, Mr. E. Buckley, pongratulated the greens superintendent, Mr. J. Iligginson, on the excellent condition of the greens, and the social and ladies' committees on their efforts on behalf of the financial side of the club. Mr. J. Leo, M.P., addressed the gathering, and Mr. Wheaten spoke on behalf of the centre. Mrs. Buckley threw the first jack and the green was declared open.
