BOOM DAMAGED AT EPSOM.
PAINTERS BURNING OFF. While painters were burning off a wall of a house at 18, Arcadia RoAd, Epsom,- this morning, fire broke out. The Remuera and Mount Eden brigades answered the call at 11.9, and found the front room burning fiercely. However, they soon had the fire under control and the damage was confined to the one room and ceiling.
The building, which is owned and occupied by Mrs. A. Aldridge, is insured for £700 and the contents for £375 with the State Fire and Accident Insurance Department.
