DESTINATION OF DIOMEDE. PRIME MINISTER'S REGRETS. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Asked this morning to make a statement regarding H.M.S. Diomede's movements, seeing that half her crew were New Zealanders, and many relatives desired to know more than the Government had so far disclosed, the Prime Minister (Mr. Forbes) said he much regretted the impossibility cf giving the information.
