Moodabe, of Epsom, returned from a visit to Sydney by the Mariposa on Saturday. * * ♦ • Mr. and Mrs. H. H. de Costa have returned to Gisborne after visiting Auckland and Helensville. Mrs. Warwick Wilson returned to her home in Eemuera Road last evening, after a visit to Cambridge. • • » • Mrs. S. Cory-Wright, of Wellington, is staying with her mother, Mrs. K. MacLennan, of Victoria Avenue, Remuera. • • • • Mrs. Frank Macky, of Dromorue Road, Eemuera, who has been visiting Melbourne, returned to Auckland by the Mariposa on Saturday.
Mrs. C. A. Hughes, of Bell Road, Eemuera, returned by the Mariposa after spending a six weeks' holiday in New South Wales and Victoria.
Among the guests at the Star Hotel are: Mrs. T. H. Thomas and Miss D. N. Jones (Melbourne), Mrs. A. J. Budd (Sydney), and Miss D. S. Peters (Adelaide).
Guests at the Hotel Northland include: Mrs. A. Dick (Waihi), Mrs. and Miss T. Shore (Wellington), Mrs. Jordan and Miss K. Jordan (Hamilton) and lliss P. Anderson (Palmerston North).
Among the guests at the last meeting of the Auckland Travel Club were: Mr. and Mrs. Wilton (Singapore), Mrs. Hoypes, Miss McCulloeh and Miss Lottie Tillotson (U.S.A.), Mr. and Mre. Hyde (London), Miss Mackay (Palmerston North), Miss Colman (Hawera) and Captain Greaves (Tahiti).
