WARRING TIMES.
I have been very interested in the humorous par. entitled "This Brotherhood" bj T "M.A.T. in your issue of the 4th inst. It is a very clever and balanced exposition of the whole business of war and deserves being read and studied by everyone in these unsettled days, as showing what a ridiculous thing war really is, particularly as waged between civilised peoples." Your paper is to be commended for publishing such enlightening ideas on a muchdiscussed question, and as such a small percentage of people have first-hand knowledge of war it is to be hoped that the Press generally will follow your good example in the best interests of a tottering civilisation.
