WRESTLING.
BURMISTER AND BLOMFIELD,
A match of particular interest to wrestling enthusiasts is scheduled for to-night, when . Sam Burmister meets Lofty Jilomfield in a contest advertised as a special challenge affair. It is a wellknown fact that Burmister has not been seen in action for some considerable time, and his absence from the ring has occasioned controversy. Many supporters of the Esthonian are firm in the belief that if lie was given the opportunity he could defeat some of the wrestlers at present in New Zealand. Burmister has stated that he has secured a decision over Blomfield in Australia, and whilst appreciating the fact that the Aucklander has improved considerably, he is still of the opinion that he can defeat him. It is therefore safe to assume that this bout will lie a thrilling affair, with Burmister all out to secure a win that will entitle him to further bouts. Blomfield is always a popular draw here, and hie return will be welcomed by wrestling fans. WADE BEATS CESTOLDI. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAUMARUXUI, Monday.
