WRITERS' CLUB.

The Writers' Club rooms were pay with spring flowers 011 Monday evening when a crowded audience gathered for a concert and party. Mrs. Crump, the president, welcomed the guests and'gave a brief resume of the club's activities. The programme consisted of songs, original plays and recitations. Songs were given by Miss Lillian Kennedy. Miss Jrtan Aircy and -Mr. Robert Simmers. Two delightful piano .solos were played by Miss Dora Jtulson. Original poems by Mrs. Crump. Mrs. I. M. Cluctt. Miss Peacock. Miss Parkinson and Miss Gloria Rawlingaon were given by Miss Joan Ross and Miss Nancy Eady. An original onc-act play, "Cache,"* by Mrs. Gilbert, was capably performed by Miss Lorna Crump, Miss De Montalk, Mrs. M. Buchan and Mr. P. Gilbert. "Cupid in Commission," a onc-act costume play by Mrs. F. M. Richmond, was artistically acted by Mrs. M. Buchan and Miss Joan Ross. A gavotte was danced by Miss Marjorie Colgrave and Miss Dorothy Anthony. The accompanists were Mrs. W. H. Mackinney, Miss Dora Judson and Miss Moya Coper-Smith. Master Bruce Mackinney gave a humorous recitation.-
