RATANA ON TOUR.

LEAVES FOR THE NORTH. After a great welcome at the Orakei Maori settlement yesterday the Maori "prophet" Ratana left the Maori Hostel this morning with close on 100 of his followers, in continuation of his tour. The party left for Kaikolie by motor cars, and on his tour of the North Ratana will confer with representatives of the Ngapuhi tribe. The party hopes to be back in Auckland by the weekend in time for the Rugby League international match Australia v. New Zealand.
