It is officially announced that the Duke of Gloucester's wedding to Lady Alice Scott will be celebrated at Westminster Abbey on November C. It is understood the»Archbishop of Canterbury will officiate. "The Times" states tliat the ceremony is slightly earlier than was generally expected. It is understood that when Hist Majesty returns from Balmoral to Buckingham Palace on September 28, he will hold a meeting of his Privy Council in order to give formal consent to the marriage under the Great Seal.

Preliminary details of the ceremonial, which is expected closely to follow the Duke of Kent's wedding last year, are already under discussion.
