GROWTH OF AVIATION.
BRITISH INTERNAL ROUTES
(British Oflicial Wireless.)
RUGBY, September 20,
The progress of internal aviation in Britain in the last few years is illustrated by the plans for extensions of ground organisation in the south and north. In the Isle of Wight, which already possesses five aerodromes, it is proposed to construct a landing ground on tho west side of the island. Last year about 00,000 visitors arrived from the mainland by air.
A civil aerodrome is under construction at Perth, which, it is expected will become an important junction for the services to the north of Scotland and those which link Edinburgh and Glasgow with London and the south.
