MR. J. E. REDGATE.

Mr. John Ernest Redgate, a prominent settler in the Te Awamutu district, has died at Ngaroto. He was born in Nottingham 56 years ago and came to New Zealand at the age of four years. About 27 years ago he went to Te Awamutu, farming at Mangapiko before, buying the Ngaroto property.
