LOCAL BODY OFFICERS.
AUCKLAND DISTRICT GUILD. An executive meeting of the Auckland District Local Government Officers' Guild (Incorporated), at which Mr. T. W. M. Ashby presided, was held at the Auckland City Council committee room, when various committees were set up for the purpose of framing the general policy of the guild. The executive were pleased at the favourable response by intending members, which showed that there had been an appreciation of the main ideals of local body work.
