WOMAN MOTORIST FINED

"HAD ONE GLASS OF BEER." (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON X, Thursday. A woman motorist who was involved in a collision with a lorry in the city yesterday was charged in the Magistrate's Court with being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a car. Counsel, in entering a plea of guilty, said defendant was an old and respected resident of the district and had had only one glass of beer. The Bench fined defendant £15 and ordered tho suppression of her name.
