ANOTHER ASSOCIATION. '(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The cricket wave whjch is sweeping through the North lias carried 'that wale district between Moerewa and lowai witn it. and at a meeting held at lowai last night a decision Was made to form a midnorthern sub-association. Over 20 de cgatu ware present, representing clubs which have been formed at Towai, Moerewa, Kawakawa, Taumarere, Maromalui, Ar ?hereVere in Attendance by special invitation Messrs. F. H. Cowan and li. J. S3 of the North Auckland Cricket Association, and Messrs C H. G. Hedd\teh and G. H. Grant, Whangarei Assod lt iO was decided to seek affiliation for the first season with .the Whangarei Associa--11 Officers "elected:—Patron, Mr. 7EL. _M.'; Rushworth, M.P.; .president Mr. Wdham Wallace; vice-presidents, Messrs Wiblin. Tβ Clark W. Proctor, G. Griffiths and W Noy; secretary - and treasurer Mr b. Webby assistant secretary, Mr. W. Mur--h-iiv delegates to the Whangarei Cricket AmUiati *.. RJ. Dunn (rcs.dei.tl land S. Webb; auditor, Mr. Fairley. Games will commence at 10 a.m. and, 'conclude at 3.30 or 3.45 p.m.
