OBITUARY.
MRS. HANNAH SIMPSON,
The death occurred at Morrinsville on Saturday of Mrs. Hannah Simpson, aged 90. Mrs. Simpson, who had been living with her daughter, Mrs. K. Ryan, Allen Street, Morrinsville, was born at Hey wood, Lancashire, England, on February 24, 1545 and with her husband, the late Robert" Simpson, came to New Zealand in the old lonic, landing at New Plymouth early in 1885. For many years -the late Mre. Simpson resided in Taranaki, her husband 'being engaged in various pursuits' at Manaia, Ngaere and .Stratford. After the death of Mi'. Simpson she removed to Petone in 1905, remaining there until 1919, when, with her daughter, the late Mrs. A. J. Skinner, she went to live at Tatuanui, near Morrinsville. On the death of Mrs. Skinner seven months ago Mrs. Simpson vent to live with Mrs. Ryan in Morrinsville. Mrs. Simpson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. D. P. Jones, of Viuo Street, Ponsonby, and Mrs. K. Ryan, of Morrinsvjlle. There are 15 giandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
