OTAHUHU GUIDES.
The annual meeting of the Otahuhu Girl Guides was held recently in the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Hall, Otahuhu. The divisional-commissioner, Mrs. N. Coates, presided over a good attendance of parents, guides and brownies. The committee's report was read by the secretary, Mrs. A. Pirie, and the treasurer, Mrs. Salt, read the halance-sheet. The report of the guides and brownies were read by Captain D. Gadd and Tawny Owl N. Winterburn. The commissioner congratulated the Otahuhu branch on the satisfactory result of the year's work. . The election of' officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mrs. H. T. Clements; president, Mrs. A. Pirie; vice-presidents, Mrs. J. E. Gillies," Mrs. Moore, Miss A. McGee; lion, secretary, Mrs. J. Fletcher Mathews; lion, treasureir,: Mrs. A. M. Salt; committees, Mesdames C. Turner, Brown, K. Todd, Hipkins, Lee, L. Bennett, Higginson, G. \/ebber, J. Hughes, and W. Billings.
